Back when Billie Eilish was still on the rise, my co-conspirator Paige Young—who was leading our social team at the time—and I landed a deal with Billie and Interscope. We positioned her as the face of the next generation of creators, and it gave us the opportunity to stand alongside her as she explored her creativity, built her brand, and expanded her enterprise.
Over the next five years, we developed countless campaigns with her, watching her evolution as an artist and cultural force. “The Create What’s True for You” campaign went on to be the most successful campaign in Adobe’s history, far exceeding our expectations.
At Adobe, we believe creativity isn’t exclusive or reserved for a lucky few—it belongs to everyone, and every story deserves to be told. Our role is to inspire and empower communities to express themselves, from global icons to students just starting out. Creativity is one of the world’s great equalizers, sparking something new in each of us every time we create.
That belief is why we were thrilled to continue our partnership with Billie Eilish. As one of the most influential creative voices of her generation, she connects deeply with young creators defining who they are and who they want to be. Together with Adobe, she launched her album Happier Than Ever, including the self-directed title track video created with Adobe Creative Cloud. To celebrate, we released an inspirational film that opened a window into Billie’s creative process, showing her iterative exploration with our tools. The goal was simple: to inspire creators everywhere to embrace the journey and bring their ideas to life.
