The Bully Project
The Adobe Bully Project Mural was a campaign especially close to my heart. Built in partnership with my friend Lee Hirsch, the filmmaker behind The Bully Project, it set out to raise awareness about bullying and use creativity as a force for empathy and inclusion. What made the project even more personal was knowing that nearly half of the creative community—48%—have identified that they experienced bullying growing up. Giving those voices a platform felt urgent and necessary.
We invited students, educators, and artists worldwide to contribute digital artwork, photography, and words of support, weaving them into a massive interactive mural that lived both online and in physical installations. This global canvas became a living expression of solidarity, turning individual stories into collective power. By elevating these voices, the project not only honored the resilience of those impacted but also reinforced Adobe’s belief that creativity can drive real social change and build deeper connections within our community.
The Bully Project Mural is a digital destination where people can share art, stories, and perspectives about bullying, its impact, and how we as a creative community can help stop it. Every artwork and project in the mural comes directly from the Behance community, creating a collective expression of resilience, empathy, and solidarity. It’s a space that turns individual voices into a powerful shared statement against bullying.
To contribute your own story, simply create a new project on Behance, add your art and words, and tag it with #thebullyprojectmural. Your voice will join thousands of others in this growing movement, reminding the world that creativity can be a force for change.
