Hi, I’m AJ.
Nice to meet you, Clare. I spent some time reviewing your background and the breadth of communications leadership you bring. The ability to guide organizations through moments of visibility, complexity, and change is something I deeply respect. Much of my career has been spent partnering closely with Communications, PR, and Executive teams to help leaders show up with clarity, confidence, and authenticity in the moments that matter most.
I have always believed that strong communication is not only about message, but about environment, preparation, and trust. My role has often been to help create the tools, shape narratives, and design experiences that allow executives to focus on being present rather than performing.
For more than 25 years I have worked alongside executive leadership, communications teams, and product organizations in technology-driven companies. Whether supporting keynote moments, major product announcements, investor events, or global brand campaigns, my focus has been consistent. Build the structure behind the scenes so leaders can step forward with confidence and clarity, always in alignment with the direction and voice set by the Communications organization.
I have had the opportunity to support executives through some of the most visible moments in technology. Global conferences, press announcements, live keynotes, partner summits, and community events where preparation, pacing, and narrative alignment are just as important as visuals or stage design. The work extends beyond the event itself. It includes message architecture, rehearsal environments, storytelling frameworks, and the subtle details that help someone feel grounded when the spotlight turns on. My role in those moments has been to reinforce and operationalize the communications strategy so leaders feel supported rather than managed.
My approach is rooted in empathy and collaboration. Executives carry enormous responsibility, and the best outcomes happen when they feel supported rather than scripted. I aim to create spaces where leaders can be themselves while still delivering clear, purposeful communication that aligns with business goals, brand integrity, and the guidance of the Communications team.
Events as Strategic Communication Platforms
Throughout my career I have helped shape large-scale global events that served not only as marketing moments, but as communication platforms that influenced perception, culture, and community. Events such as Adobe MAX, Summit, and major launch moments were designed as ecosystems of storytelling, learning, and inspiration rather than single presentations.
These environments required tight partnership with Communications, PR, Product, and Executive teams. The work ranged from narrative development and content systems to stage design, rehearsal strategy, and audience experience. The goal was always the same. Ensure that every touchpoint reinforced clarity of message and confidence of delivery while creating energy and connection with the audience, while keeping the communications voice consistent and intentional.
I see events as living expressions of a company’s voice. When done well, they create trust, momentum, and a sense of shared direction both internally and externally.
Building Confidence Behind the Scenes
A consistent theme in my work has been equipping leaders and teams with the resources they need to succeed in public-facing environments. That can mean developing presentation systems, storytelling frameworks, rehearsal formats, or creative toolkits that reduce friction and increase confidence. I see this as supporting the Communications organization by extending its reach and helping scale its intent across moments and mediums.
I believe strong executive communication is built on preparation and partnership. When communications, creative, and leadership teams operate in sync, the message becomes clearer, the delivery becomes stronger, and the organization moves forward with greater cohesion. My role has often been to serve as that connective layer. Someone who understands both the strategic intent and the human dynamics involved in high-visibility moments, and who works in service of the communications lead rather than alongside it.
I am often described as calm under pressure and energized by complex, high-stakes environments. I enjoy helping teams find clarity, build alignment, and create moments that resonate beyond the stage or the screen. Whether supporting crisis response preparation, executive storytelling, or global event experiences, my goal is always to strengthen trust and ensure leaders feel prepared, supported, and authentic.
At the end of the day, I see my role as a partner to Communications leaders and executive teams, helping transform important moments into meaningful connections and ensuring the people representing the organization feel equipped, confident, and genuinely themselves, while reinforcing the direction and voice set by the Communications organization.
