We began with the essentials—Color, Layout, and Type—brought to life by some of the industry’s leading experts. Designed as a guide for those exploring careers, passions, or simply experimenting with creativity, the series served as both instruction and inspiration.

The strategy was simple: be in service of our past selves. What tools or guidance would have been most helpful to us at the beginning of our journeys? By grounding the series in fundamentals and surrounding it with tips, tricks, and tutorials, we gave emerging designers a resource that not only taught the basics but also offered comfort, encouragement, and the spark to reach their full potential.
