Adobe Identity Systems
“Elevating Creators to Rock Star Status”

One of the earliest initiatives I piloted at Adobe was championing the creator. It may sound obvious—why wouldn’t the “Creativity Company” do that?—but this went far beyond a belief system. It was about being a driving force in curating and cultivating great talent, giving them the spotlight, and using every tool at our disposal to elevate creatives in new and meaningful ways. It set in motion a mission that would ultimately reshape Adobe’s culture.

We started small, introducing artists and celebrating their work by curating or commissioning pieces for our product splash screens. There’s no better way to honor creativity than by putting someone’s work in front of millions of other creatives every day. From there, we extended this philosophy across every surface of our identity—making their expression central to our brand and giving them real ownership of it. What began more than 15 years ago has since become deeply ingrained in Adobe’s DNA, inspiring even other global brands to follow a similar path.
