Make a Masterpiece
Make a Masterpiece was one of the most ambitious Adobe Stock campaigns I led—simple in premise but bold in execution. We challenged artists to recreate lost or stolen masterpieces using nothing but Adobe Stock imagery. The goal was to show how ordinary stock photos, paired with Creative Cloud, could be transformed into extraordinary works of fine art.
To make it real, I brought in four brilliant artists from the Behance community: Karla Cordova reimagined Frida Kahlo’s The Wounded Table, Jean-Charles Debroize took on Caravaggio’s Saint Matthew and the Angel, Mike Campau recreated Karl Friedrich Schinkel’s Cathedral Towering Over a Town, and Ankur Patar tackled Rembrandt’s The Storm on the Sea of Galilee. Each piece required hundreds of stock images and countless hours of meticulous manipulation to capture the texture, light, and detail of the originals. Seeing these artists push the limits of our tools to resurrect lost art was both inspiring and the ultimate proof of Adobe Stock’s creative power.
